CSI Research

CSI is world-renown for its basic research in communications. Historically, the research conducted at CSI has been mathematical in nature, with error correction coding, synchronization, and pseudo-random sequence design serving as hallmarks.

In recent years, research at CSI has increasingly addressed issues requiring computer simulation, prototyping, or experimental measurement in addition to mathematical analysis. For these purposes, CSI students and faculty have access to unique, world-class facilties.

Regardless of its nature, CSI research is high-impact — our papers are well-cited and CSI advances permeate today’s modern digital communication systems.

Short summaries of recent CSI research, sources of research funding, and a short list of faculty publications are available through the sublinks to this page.
