11th Annual Research Festival

Welcome to the 11th Annual Research Festival of the Ming Hsieh Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, and hosted by the Ming Hsieh Institute.

Despite some of the ongoing pandemic related restrictions, participation and enthusiasm are as high as ever. This year, over 80 students representing every area of our diverse field will share their research with faculty,  industry and other students.

We are also celebrating other areas of our growing community. Our new Dynamic Imaging Science Center (DISC) is offering tours of the new Low-Field MRI machine housed at the USC Michelson Center for Convergent Bioscience. Some of our student clubs, including USC Makers and USC IEEE are here to showcase their work and connect with students and industry alike.

This past year has been challenging, but one thing is for certain: Our department has one of the strongest communities and cultures anywhere on campus! Although we’re not surprised, our resilient students produced great research over the last year. Please join us in celebrating their accomplishments.
