Electrical and Computer Engineering is a diverse discipline with three major areas: computer engineering (software engineering, digital hardware design, embedded systems, VLSI), systems engineering (communications, control, signal processing), and electrical sciences (electronic and photonic devices, nanotechnology, and energy conversion). The Progressive Degree Program (PDP) gives continuing USC undergraduates another path to earning a Master’s degree from USC. Exceptional undergraduate students completing an EE or related major can apply for the Progressive Degree Program.
