Research Festival Student Presenter Registration

POSTERS / PITCHES / DEMOS

All Ph.D. students and Postdoctoral Scholars in the Electrical Engineering Department (EE-Systems and EE-Electrophysics) are eligible to present their research at the 8th Annual Electrical Engineering Research Festival on Friday, November 10, 2017 (registration is on a first-come first-serve basis).

POSTER 
-Poster sessions (100 slots, 1 poster entry per student)
-Ph.D. students must use logos on the provided templates to showcase their research with a 1-2 minute presentation
-Students can present either a poster or pitch, but not both

DEMO
-Poster presenters can choose to include a demo that correlates with their poster (15 demos will be accepted)
-MHI will provide space needs for approved demos (table top, power source)

PITCH (graduating Ph.D. student short research overview)
-Graduating Ph.D. student pitches (15 slots)
-4 minute high level fast-paced research overview with presentation slides
-Graduation date must be in spring, summer or fall of 2018
-Students can present either a poster or pitch, but not both

UNDERGRADS:
Undergraduate students in the Electrical Engineering Department (EE-Systems and EE-Electrophysics) are eligible to present their research during an undergraduate poster session. Poster presenters can choose to include a demo that correlates with their poster (this is not mandatory). Please follow above guidelines and check the box indicating you are an undergraduate student.

If you have specific presentation requests please e-mail Cathy Huang at chiachih@usc.edu, we are happy to accommodate research presentations. We have had undergrad and MS demonstrations in the past years as well.

Deadline to Register to Present is Friday, November 3rd, 2017.
